f the half inch of snow that fell yesterday had the dense texture of unleavened bread, the two to three inches that fell overnight came at the other end of the spectrum of culinary metaphors. The new snow has the airy insubstantiality of whipped egg whites, but it is packing out nicely. The groomer is heading out to explore new trail openings, and more terrain than the eight kilometers that have been open should be ready to go soon.
