| Another 2-3 inches overnight and it’s still snowing! No new grooming today but we have the same 20 km of groomed trails from Sunday that now have a dusting to 3″ inches of new snow. Conditions are powder on top of a packed powder base. At 8:15am the temp is 6 degrees and the wax of the day will be green turning to blue as the temps rise to the mid to upper teens. Backcountry conditions are amazing and just keep getting better every day, not much else to say! |

| f the half inch of snow that fell yesterday had the dense texture of unleavened bread, the two to three inches that fell overnight came at the other end of the spectrum of culinary metaphors. The new snow has the airy insubstantiality of whipped egg whites, but it is packing out nicely. The groomer is heading out to explore new trail openings, and more terrain than the eight kilometers that have been open should be ready to go soon. |
